In this course we are going to teach you the basics of drawing with pencil and acrylics. We will meet once a week and learn the importance of light, shadow, depth, differences in tones and colors. During the course we will also paint a portrait, body figures, still life and landscape. The course is suitable for everyone above 12y.o. ABOUT THE TEACHER: Giovanna Antoniou studied Fine Arts at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a specialty to Oil Painting on Canvas. She mainly works with oil paints, charcoal, and pencil. A principal theme in Giovanna's artwork are portraits. She studied painters of Renaissance and Baroque periods like Freud, Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Da Vinci and Michelangelo. In her career she did some sculpting, engraving and tattooing.
